Try over the counter ALIGN. It has completely normalized me after years of IBS!

I feel your pain. I too have changed to having horrible pains even with normal day bowel movements. All tests show I have IBS-D, nothing worse. Doctor has tried Levsin recently for the pain but it actually made me worse, if that was possible. Align or any probiotics also made me worse by giving me gas. I'm back at using just Imodiam Multiple Symptom to control the diarrhia and pain and a stool softener (no laxitive) to help after the Imodium makes me more constipated.
I have found lately that deep breathing, relaxing exercise like Qi Gong, and using my TENS electrical stimulation unit over my stomach just before bedtime to all help me learn how to relax when the pain starts, rather than tense up against it and actually make it worse. I don't know about you but I sometimes think my body doesn't like any kind of gut movement...eating or pooping it all seems to spasum and causes pain. Someone told me menopause hormone changes can make IBS worse. Why not, everything else happens during menopause. Hope you find something that works!
