didn't have a BM for 7 days not sure what to do.

I was diagnosed with IBS-c when I was 9 years old. I am now 36 and suffering once again from extreme consitpation. I also have endometriosis, so not sure if this is the cause of my constipation. I went 7 days with out a BM (even taking Amitiza, Colace and Benefiber). I finally used a supository and had a very painful BM with lots of blood. I went to my GI doctor and he gave me some Kristolace to help my BM movements. It took effect 24 hours after my first dose, however there was a lot of bright red blood. I also have a lot of pain around my rectum. My GI doctor believes that my endometriosis is impacting my bowels. He referred me to a endo specialist, but can't get into him for 2 to 3 weeks. I am concerned that something else is going on. Has anyone else had intestinal endometriosis and have the similiar syptoms of severe constipation. I would appreciate any advice/input.

I am thought to have endo, getting to see a gynae next week after weeks of waiting. I get blood in my stools sometimes..quite often on my period i thought this is what is it, i used to get constiapted before my period happened, sometimes didnt go for up to 5 days then as soon as i started my bowels would be normal. Since my pains been getting worse and symptoms are worse my bowels also have been, i get diaherah/loose stools/constipation before my period, moving my bowels and urinating is painful..and then after everything usualy goes back to normal. This may be your endo aswell.

Princess, thanks for your response. You'll have to let me know how your appt. goes next week.
I am about the same today. Touching my tummy just plain hurts. I to am still waiting to get into a specialist. It is looking like it will be mid August before I can get in. That is the frustrating part when you are in pain and misserable and then have to wait weeks to be seen. it just doesn't seem right.
