Has anyone here gone insuranceless for over 6 months then tried to get private insurance?
I have so far two companies have denied my application due to "preexisting conditions that are outside the acceptable limit of potential future medical costs." So apparently since I have been denied, I am now a candidate for Oregon Medical Insurance Pool with a copay of $202 for their cheapest plan with the greatest deductible. Thanks Glo! but unfortunately the medicaid program currently only has funding for children and pregnant women. I tried that route last month :o(
