I have thought he was not a U.S. citizen for long before this election and so do many others but evidently not those wiht any power to do anything about it.
Only a fool believes the elected President is the person running this country so if Obama is in power it is because those with the real say so have decided he is the one they want there at this point in time and we'll just have to wait to see if we can figure out why as time passes.
Being anti-Obama is not the same thing as being racist, in fact to say that is in it'self racist. Frankly there is not a politican out there that I'd trust any further then I could throw a Mack truck, it is all lies and smoke and mirrors and "we the people" will continue to get screwed as the rich get richer, the poor become more plentiful and the constitution continues to be shredded.

I to believe it is due to President Obamas race is the reason all this is going on. The thing is, I as a AA female knew this was going to happen. As soon as we elected a AA President this media and people assassination was going to happen. The only consolation is to know that since there has been one there will be many to follow and the next will not have such a hard time.

I must acknowledge that not all who appose or disagree with Obama are racist. Some just have strong views on the way they feel the government should run and he is not doing what they feel he should do as the president and his race has nothing to do with there disapproval. That I can respect.

There are many who do not trust government and politicians, and they do not trust Obama for the same reason. The fact that there is a difference with this President is obvious, not so nuch because you can point to racism, but the reactions to the things that are happening.

People are walking around Presidential gatherings with assault weapons on their shoulder and there is no problem. Well, they have the right to carry them, but WTF? This is a serious security threat, where are all the calls of terrorism and anti-terrorism?

This will keep up and maybe someone will get killed.

As for this whole birther and refusing to serve, it has been around for a while now. There is a name associated with this, Allen Keyes, it is not in the foreground, but he is one of the main people pushing the agenda.

And GerogiaW- i did not say that all those who have problems with Obama are racist

But where were all these people during the George W reign?

For i noticed that u GeorgiaW did not mention anything about the weapon around the Pres

For if all those against Obama were actually concerned with legality- or his fit to rule- then why not be concerned about assasignation? Rules of the land being broken- in use against Obama?

I have to say, I agree with you Wolfie 110%. All though there are many who dislike Obama due to his political views and just that alone. I do feel that most are fueled by race. They can stand all day and say they aren't but deep down they are. The man has not been President for a full year yet and they are attacking his right to be President? It has been proven over and over again that the man was born on US soil, but yet there are those who want that fact to not be true, so they have started a movement. Thats sad. Why not just sit back and watch what the man does. Have anyone ever heard of the words, "Give him a chance to prove himself before you Judge"?

GeorgiaW is very fair in her dislike and mistrust of politicians. She does no defend George W, believe me on this.

One of the questions I also have is why, when people were refusing to serve, like on religious reasons, say, a fighter named Ali, they were punished, and these people are cheered and heroes? They are refusing to go fight for their country on legal grounds. Well, Ali had the same right.

Playmisti, you have a valid point. I do think that in time they will be dealt with. Thats one thing about the government. They never forget.

i would agree with those who refuse to deploy based on a desire not to participate in war- or for the validity of this war

but those who refuse to deploy based on the belief that Obama is not the president? is another story all together- and that is what i was speaking of.

Wolfie19 I do feel you have a valid point. I can understand a persons belief in not going to war for there own personal beliefs. I how ever don't understand the reason some have had to not go to war because they don't feel that Obama is President because they feel he wasn't born on US soil. Especially when it has been proven over and over again.
I come from a military family. My father was in the military for 20 yrs and my H was in for 22 yrs. Plus my H was a recruiter for 3 yrs. When you sign on the dotted line, it says plainly, you agree to serve in the armed forced during peace time or war time, and if your commander and chief calls you will fight. It doesn't say, if he is a AA you can bow out. It doesn't matter if you believe in the war or not, when you sign you agree to go and fight. Its that plain and simple. If you don't want to take the chance in going to war, then don't join up. After all, it is a voluntary armed forces.

from what "digging" i've done, he was born in Kenya, not Chicago, and not Hawaii.

i don't care what he looks like, i don't trust him, never did. i've done a lot of digging about him, just because i was paying attn to his speeches while he was Sen. he flips a lot, and that's why i started digging into his past.

he has a VERY SHADY past. anyone that spent their time in the 90s (or any year) fund raising for terror groups and for extreme muslim groups, is a terrorist in my eyes. especially after what i went thru during 9/11.
