racist family except for me!

im white and every bf ive had is black. my family only knows about 1 of the guys. and i got in trouble for that. now my brother and his wife is like me, they dont care what race the guy is, as long as he respects me. and most guys have been that way with me. and i just dont kno what to do about my family. what should i do? i mean should i just wait to start datin till im out tha house then they cant do nuthin about it? or should i just do what makes me happy? so what should i do?

While I'm glad your not a racist I do think you should wait until you are on your own and paying your own bills before you date people your parents will not approve of.
Yes their attitude is wrong but while you are living at their expense in their home you need to at least abide by their rules even if you cannot respect this certain area. I do have a question though. You seem to prefer dating black men but do you also have black girlfriends? If your circle of friends is open to those of many races and you brought them home it might help ease your parents attitudes since most racism is based on total ignorance and not any real life event.

yea, i have more than just black girl friends. i have white peuterican etc. i mean its not just one race. and im not set on just black guys, thats just who i happen to like. i mean ive liked white guys and peuterican guys etc., but ive just happen to date black guys. the other guys just never worked out. and thank you for the advice (:
