I am glad that people are starting to talk more about internet addictions. It helps those who are addicted feel more validated for whatever they are feeling and encourages tham to get hlpe more-and for those who are getting help there is more helpful advice up there to help us gain back the control our addiction has on us (cause in reality every addiction is like shackles with lead balls that keeps us from flying and really succeeding in life).

Our talking about the addiction (i.e. thinking out loud and seeking advice) and our attempts to get advice on how to solve the underlying issues that make us prone to our addictions and solve them are like the chainsaws that are freeing us from our addiction one day at a time.

So congratulations to all those who keep on fighting and have ourcome your addiction-your increased talking about it and efforts to solve it can only serve to help yourself and others more.

" I've only just joined so haven't looked at the discussions going on yet. I've been in denial that I have a problem, for a while but I find myself making excuses to stay online that bit longer. I used to set a deadline of 11pm in the evening but now find myself online at midnight regularly - sometimes longer. It's online chatting I find I'm addicted to, as someones always online thanks to the different time-zones. I'm hoping to find the motivation to do something else with my time. "
