well i wasn't too bad. but my hubby is an internet addict. he works in it and is on the computer all day. he comes home and is always on either the laptop or through his iphone. he does not asnwer me or the kids when we speak to him. he is really not a part of us as a family.

me, i go on less, but still lose 3-4 hours a day on here. i write a lot, blog, and visit sites to help myself spiritually and emotionally (but the internet hurts this ironicallY). also check facebook and email, stuff like that.

with both hubby and i the sites we go to change over time but the behavior of staying online too much is a constant. he is on almost every waking hour he has, expcept when he goes out. neither of us are anti social or anything. but when we are home we are on. well i stop mid afternoon and do not get back on again til the kids are in bed. then i stay up late to make up for missed time. and i start at breakfast over coffee, and like now it is pm, still on, still not done with coffee. no self freakin control and i avoid doing work this way.

" I've only recently realised how addicted I am. I live a lone which makes resisting it especially difficult. Ironically, I've started doing computer studies which means having to log-on which doesn't help the problem at all. The first step to recovery I think, would be to stop switching on the minute I wake up - it's even on before the kettle is - and resist until let's say mid morning perhaps. I wish you luck with tackling this. "
