I suffered severe insomnia last about a year and a half ago and have gone through all the typical drugs and naturopathic remedies (nothing worked). Behavioural therapies worked a bit but that was just helping me to get off the zopiclone. In the end I went to a reputable Chinese medicine doctor and started a regiment of herbal therapies. I believe that, and daily exercise greatly helped me. I have very little problem falling asleep now, although I still wake up fairly early (around 5), but able to get some sleep after that.

It has been a long road and I never thought I'd get my sleep back. But now I feel like I can move forward again. So don't give up!
