I have horrible sleep insomnia, I'm like a walking zombie sometimes from being so sleep deprived. I've tried a lot of things music, lavender, reading, etc,. but it hasn't worked. I've even tried chamomile tea but that just makes me have to pee at night lol. I would like to know some techniques that work for you if you have any.

Have you tried melatonin? It comes in 3-5 mg. I would start off at 3. You can get it at any store in the vitamin dept. It is all natural ,something our bodies produce naturally and sometimes we can get depleted of it for what ever reason. Take it half and hour before bed. Good luck I know what it is like :)

When I can not sleep I meditate and work my way from head to toe relaxing and letting go of the stress. By the time I am at my toes I am usually asleep BUT if not (as is the case at times) I start from the toes and work very slowly back up... then if I am still awake I focus on relaxation going to a place in nature I have been before and letting that wash over me. Even if I do not sleep I get "rest" which is way better than tossing and turning
Good luck

Try sleeping some place thats not your bed. I get so much anxiety in my bed even though its the best place in the world to sleep.

I usually get the best sleep at a friend's house. Although, lately, that's not been the case. I still wake up sleepy...or wake up during the night now, even there.
I don't know what to suggest anymore. I know that melatonin also didn't work for me...but I'm nocturnal by nature...and have always gotten about 3-4.5 hours every night since I was an infant. My parents said they were LUCKY if I got 6 hours of sleep. To this day...I'm LUCKY if I get 6 hours of sleep. Unless I crash from being awake for more then 36-42+ hours.
