" Try Melatonin, our bodies make it naturally and we just get depleted but you can strt at 3mg tablet half and hour before bedtime. You can find it anywhere vitamins are sold and it is very cheap too. At least this way you can try something natural first to see if it will help. Good luck i knoe it sucks not getting sleep. Please be careful too our reflexes can become slower without sleep. learned that one the hard way too :) "

" have you ever tried muscle relaxation therapy? you tense up each part of your body starting with your head (or toes) Tense them for ten seconds...then release... do each part of your body and if you still feel tense try again. Another helpful thing for me is to imagine a rainbow and go through each color in my head slowly and when i get to purple i feel much better. Remember just breath... all in all that's the only thing you need to do in this moment. One more thing that has helped me is to repeat to myself "My Mind is not my Body" sounds silly but it works for me! GOOD LUCK and SWEET DREAMS!!!!!!!!! "

" There is nothing worse than insomnia! I too have had this for many years, and I can't fathom how you do it working 2 jobs!

There is a medication that's not addictive, and has been being used for a very long time with great results, it Trazadone. I use it, and what is even nicer is that most doc tell you to start off with 50 mg, but that it's ok to take another if you wake up in the middle of the night.

What my doc said to me when he first put me on it was to just have a cup of coffee in the am, and I would be fine, and I am.

Just a thought. Yes there are natural things one can take, but it sounds like you have something else going on. How long have you had this?

Onething you can never get caught up on is the sleep we lose. We can take alll the naps we want, but it will never give us back all those hours you keep losing. Add them up, and I bet you have lost many of them.

So hope you find help! One can't function without the right amount of sleep. look up sleep deprivation, not pretty.

Debbie "
