I've lost the will to sleep. It almost seems too much trouble if that makes any sense. I haven't been well (recovering now though), I've an issue I don't know how to solve and it's getting too much. At the same time I'm too tired to think straight. I prayed with someone about it in church this morning but it feels as if I don't want tomorrow to come. I see the doctor tomorrow.

" I was given a clean bill of health yesterday and sod's law, I can't sleep. It's gone 3:30 in the morning right now, I've potentially got a busy day tomorrow and I'm lost on what to do. Should I toss and turn on the off-chance I'll get 'some' sleep or just give up? "

" What I do is start my sleep in the sofa then when I pop up with sleep still in my eyes I gingerly try to make it upstairs to bedroom then go right back to sleep.

The effectiveness is in the 90+%-tile.

The other thing is to remind yourself of everytime you know you were asleep. "

" " have you ever tried muscle relaxation therapy? you tense up each part of your body starting with your head (or toes) Tense them for ten seconds...then release... do each part of your body and if you still feel tense try again. Another helpful thing for me is to imagine a rainbow and go through each color in my head slowly and when i get to purple i feel much better. Remember just breath... all in all that's the only thing you need to do in this moment. One more thing that has helped me is to repeat to myself "My Mind is not my Body" sounds silly but it works for me! GOOD LUCK and SWEET DREAMS!!!!!!!!! " "
