I am a recovering alcoholic suffering from serious insomnia the past 8 months. Also from depression/anxiety issues. My Dr. prescribed me soma a muscle relaxer for insomnia? I'm kind of wondering if anyone has had any experience with this and if they had any positive results.

I have taken Soma for muscle pain and all I can say is take the prescribed amount only. Myself being a former addict too one a ltiilt to soon and boy oh boy was I in lalal land.
I also have a freind who is on them and her husbamd says that the first ten days of renewing her meds she sits on the couch in a drug induced stupor. So please just be carefull. Some of these pills can become very addictive and this is one of them.
