" try tapering off so that your body becomes less tolerant... in the meantime try relaxing and give yourself a break. This is hard and it will take time. Defiantly go and see your doc cause it can be dangerous to taper any benzodiazipine. Good Luck! "

" I would take a break from the meds. Try soft music, prayer, hot baths, with lavender. Get a message, this relaxes and promotes blood flow.
May the Lord grant you sweet sleep!. "

" Devung, it can be *highly* dangerous to suddenly stop using any benzodiazapine drug (that includes clonazepam!)
You will need expert help to *gradually* wean yourself off these types of drugs. If *anyone*, including your Dr tells you that you can wean yourself off in a week or two - run away from that Dr as fast as you can!
I would suggest you check out a site at www.benzo.org uk to read about the experiences of other folks who also had to come off any of the benzo class drugs.
There is an American support group at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/benz...
They will offer you all the expert advice you will need how to *sensibly* taper off clonazepam, Xanax or any other benzo drug.
I strongly advise you to be in touch with this site as you say you have used clonazepam for many years so you are going to have to come off this med s-l-o-w-l-y and they will advise you at exactly what rate and you will be in the controlled company of other people who like you are weaning themselves off benzo's without it becoming a nightmarish process which it can very well be if you go cold turkey!
Best of luck... "
