I talked to my Dad about this, he has a doctorate in chemistry and he warned me away from this stuff. Says it is a waste of money and time and it can really bring heartache to people who are trying to get pregnant and find themselves having wasted years and dollars.
He says homeopathy is quack sciencee and the only thing it can do to effect positive results is the placebo effect. Oh and this thing about the memory of water which homeopathy is based on is supreme BS. Its scientifically impossible. That said, there are a lot of herbal remedies, both western and eastern that do bear looking into. Vitex, red raspberry tea, vitamin B etc. Alternative treatments such as accupuncture can also be very helpful. But the homeopathic concept of reducing the concentration and increasing the potency of a drug simultaneously is ridiculous.

What a sad and blinkered response from MikT. Are you saying then that IVF doesn't bring heartache to people trying to get pregnant and that doesn't cost them years and dollars? Homeopathy is well researched, effective and most of all cheap, which is why I expect it gets such a bad press from those whose affiliations lie elsewhere. This attitude is really hurtful and damaging to people who are looking for better answers. Why not try and be a bit more supportive?
