Okay, I already posted this recommendation on miscarriage community, but just decided to join infertility community today. Somehow I feel as if I deny my infertility that it is not happening....Not the case. I go in for my 1st HSG in a month or so. My fertility doctor recommended a book for me to read and I think it is great!It is called
Conquering Infertility by Dr. Alice D. Domar, PH.D. Mind and Body Guide to Enhancing Fertility and Coping with Infertility. One of her messages of hope in the book is "You will be happy again. Life will become joyful again. And somehow, some way, if you want to become a parent, you will." She has wonderful advice on *coping with friends and family members becoming pregnant. *sustaining a career during infertility. *other options when treatment fails. This is a very easy reading book. It has some wonderful advice and I would definately recommend it to anyone struggling with getting pregnant and feeling lost with your situation. I have learned a lot from reading it so far. If you decide to go and get the book,I hope some of you find strength and peace of mind through this reading. |
