I just got diagnosed with PCOS. My lab work didn't show that I had it, but my ultrasound did. The dr. prescibed me Metformin. I am to start out with 500 mg a day for a week then 1000 mg a day for 3 months. Has anyone had success stories with Metformin?

" Hello my doctor has me on Clomid, Metformin, and Progesterone so we will see what happens. I was only on clomid for 3 months and did not get pregnant with that I had one period on my own since last September that my doctor has not had to give me progesterone to start. I just hope that this starts working for me soon I want another baby so bad. Good luck to everyone else. "
