Infertility Support Group

Saw my new RE for my follow up from labs and he told me that I was insulin resistant (IR) which I knew I was. So he put me back on Metformin but increased in dosage from 500mg 3 x a day to 850mg working up to 3 x a day and also added Actos 45mg once a day. I've got to check my bbt starting tomorrow to see what my ovaries do. Has anyone or know anyone that took this regimen and conceived with it? This dr is more concerned about me than my other dr was. He said that there has been some women get pregnant while taking Actos and Metformin. He would have put me on Avandia but it's hard to get now, but if he can get it, he will put me on that since it's stronger than Actos.
My thyroid, pituitary hormones, and everything else was normal except for my plasma glucose, which is what he expected it to be, elevated.
