Mentally Losing It

My husband and I have been TTC since May 2008. We were diagnosed with severe male factor having IVF & ICSI as our only option. We did a cycle had 2 Grade A 8 cell 3 day embies implanted was BFN. We had 1 blastocyst frozen. We are in the middle of a FET had 1 "beautiful" blastocyst that thawed perfectly implanted on November 3rd. Scheduled for pregnancy testing on the 18th. However, today I started bleeding. I think it's too late to call it implantation bleeding as it should have implanted before now. I'm taking delestrogen every 3 days and PIO daily. I'm really upset and am seriously losing right now.

" Don't give up hope. I really don't think its too late for implantation bleeding, I have read of people who got a BFP and were bleeding. Stay positive. Good luck. "

" Don't give up hope. Implantation can be up to 12 dpo. Just wait for the test and try to stay positive. Are you spotting or full on bleeding? Ask the doctor about it, I think that is a side effect of delestrogen anyway. Don't worry. I spotted this cycle the day before my first beta. It was my first time spotting and my first BFP! I will keep my fingers crossed for you. "

" I had bleeding on the evening of 7dp3dt. I got a positive HPT the next morning. I am currently 9 weeks along. I think you are spot on for "implantation bleeding." Good luck to you. "

" Thanks everyone. I called the nurse after I calmed down a little so she could actually understand what I was saying. She said that it is likely implantation bleeding and many women experience this and if the bleeding becomes heavy I need to call back and come in. Right now it is definitely not enough for full flow but it's more than I'd like to see. I still have it and I'm wondering to those of you that have had implantation bleeding how long does it typically last? "

" My prayers are with you, to ease your mind and help you to be more peaceful and rested.

I know just how terrifying unexpected bleeding can be, and I know that no amount of reasoning will allow you to stop worrying.
But, I feel compelled to try.

Some women bleed throughout pregnancy for no known reason and to no detrimental effect.
Implantation doesn't run to your calendar, it has it's own.
The Drs have given you something to help maintain the pregnancy, that is amazing and a really good sign as it shows there is a reasonably good amount of hope.
Be good to your body and think of your child that may be, and how sometimes we have to hold it together and be calm in the worst of moments for their sakes.

God Bless you. "
