Dispite the huge odds against us I am shock, delighted and amazed to tell you I GOT A BFP!!!!!!!

I Know I shouldn't be as shocked as I am, but after a year of vitimins, herbs, accupuncture, yoga, meditation, blood work, ultra sounds. meds and 5 Egg retrievals, I still can't compute that this year of pain and suffering might finally be comming to an end. Isabella was due July 4th 09, since I lost her Jan. 29th it has seemed at times like I was never going to be pregnant again. The Dr's gave us only a 5% chance of sucess at IVF. I kept trying to tell myself that 5% was still 5 people in every 100 that got lucky. But the long odds always seemed to go against me. What are the odds of having a bicornuate uterus someting like 1: 100,000, odds of having blood clotting issues, I dont know but maybe 1-2%, odds of having the ovarian reserve of a 45 yr old when your 39: slim, chance of misscarriage during 2nd tri-mester: 1-2%, cance of having all of this: unfrickin believable!!!!

So yes I have always been at the wrong side of the stastics, but for once the long odds have gone in my favour. Now I just have to overcome the odds that a bicournuate uterus has a 55-63% chance of live birth. I like the odds compared to 5% chance of getting PG!!!! LOL

Well this is the 2nd time in 7 years of ttc that I find myself PG. I hope finnally it will end in a healthy baby alive and well in my arms. I will need you ladies now as much as ever, my thoughts go out to all of you who are fighting against the odds. Lisa
