Just wondering if anyone has had a hysteroscopy. Did you have to be put on birth control before hand?

I had one done and was not on birth control. It is uncomfortable, but worth doing because it can find potential problems.

i also had one prior to my first IVF cycle. my doctor told me to take 800 mg of motrin 1 hour prior to the procedure and i definitely think that helped. i was not on birth control.
