I took this medication, it's also called Clomid. It's supposed to make you ovulate. It was effective for me, it made me ovulate but my tubes were blocked. Hope this helpful for you.

My friend told me she took it to straighten her ovulation without doing any procedure, so it made me curious.

It help me too, but my tubes were blocked as well. Beware of the side effects!!!! I was a BITCH!

I took this in Feb.2009 before my IUI and was on the 50 mg and it made me have two follicles one on each side at 9mm each one and of course nothing happened...but..I think that I needed the HCG trigger shot and the progesterone supp??

Hi there. Clomid is the usually the first thing they try when you go to the doctor about infertility. It is supposed to help you ovulate more regularly.

I took it for 6 cycles at 50 mg. I got pregnant once but miscarried. It had pretty bad side effects for me, but everyone reacts differently.

Also, it is important to make sure that your husband/partner has a good semen analysis. 40% of IF is male, 40% is female and 20% is both.
