My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 2 years. We have male factor infertility. We had a BFN on March 16th with our first IVF cycle. We are excited and trying to be cautiously optimistic to start round 2. I will start my BCPs with my May period. Which should be about mid-May. My FET should be at the end of June if everything goes as planned. Is anyone with me?

Hi ya'll. Just wanted to say stay positive, happy, and up beat, even through the Lupron! Day 21 today for me, and waiting for my cycle to start ocps, but man, for everyone that's already on the injections, I know how hard it gets. Be strong ladies, and I will be sending BFP thought to everyone :)

Positive thoughts everyone!! I started finally started by period today so I will be starting BCP with my next period. I will probably be June/July instead of May/June. Good luck to everyone. Please keep us updated on how you are doing. :)

Fingers crossed I'm in to.
Had ER 2 weeks about but transfer was cancelled due to OHSS. I had hoped for FET on the following cycle - I got my period on Thur but scan on Fri unfortunately showed cysts. So FET won't be happening now and am on the pill. Fingers crossed the cysts disappear and we can do FET next cycle - I'm guessing (and hoping) transfer will be around mid-June. Really anxious to get moving with this after months and months of set backs - difficult to stay positive. So, best of luck to all. Here's hoping this group is blessed with lots of little bundles of joy xxx

Hi Ladies...
I'm posting everywhere possible for as much luck and support as I can get, lol. I'm not doing IVF this cycle, I'm doing an IUI. I expect to be inseminated Wednesday and Thursday of this week. I've been TTC for since September of 2010...In the last year I've been preggo three times (one from IVF and two natural) and had two miscarriages and one ectopic. I just recently found out the cause ( I hope!) of my miscarriages, so I'm hoping that since I get preggo often the IUI will do the trick and I won't have to do another IVF (I've done two so far) and that my next pregnancy will stick. I'm doing this all on my own...I'm an aging single with dreams of being a happy and fabulous mother in 2013. Baby dust to all of us!! xoxo Laurie

Hi All-
We have been TTC since 2006/2007. I was in college but we didnt care, we wanted to get pregnant. I found out that I have stage 4 endo and med/lg ovarian cysts at that time and had surgery in summer of 2008. I had 1 tube open and one 100% blocked that was removed. The other tube became blocked with healing. We are finally at the point of starting the tedious journey of IVF!! We decided on who we were going with for IVF, talked with them about 2 weeks ago with where we need to start etc. Have made apts with the specialist and high risk OB to decided the best time to do this is. Once I go off my BCP's and get testing done we will be on our way. I never thought this day would come when we finally started talk seriously and start on the road to hopefully having children of our own!! We are also waiting to hear about a grant we put in for, hopefully we will know by the end of this month!! Either way we hope to get going in June/July to get pregnant. I have only 1 ovary so we were taken off the list for a grant because we didn't qualify because of only having one ovary. I am so afraid of going off the BCP's. I have not had a period in over a year, so I don't know how bad it is going to be. Before all of this I had horrible pain and long periods. I hope that with the surgeries and lupron I did a few years ago that it wont be to bad and everything will happen right on track with no other issues!! I hope that we all with have it that way and bring MANY more children into this world with parents who truly deserve them. I dont think any of us have ever wanted something so bad as we want children of our own!! Heres to LOTS of baby dust to all of us that works with no problems and by this time next year we ALL have the children we have so patiently been waiting for for so long!!

I may be with you. I should be mid to late May and then we will decide once we have a baseline antral count. I am 42 so we want to make sure we pick the "best" month to try. I have already done IVF twice. BFP the first time but MC at 9 weeks and then BFN. We have waited 18 months until I was emotionally ready to try again.

Hi All! I wish everyone the best of luck with this cycle. I'm on day 26, and waiting for my cycle to start in order to get the ocps going. Then onto Lupron, Gonal F, and whatever else is in store for me before the ER and ET. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that by cycle day 2-3 sono will be normal. No cysts! Also, shoot, I'm hoping my cycle starts when it is supposed to. Fingers crossed everyone's body works with them! No dysmenorrhea after being on ocps for a year. No cysts. No OHSS. Nothing but BFPs at the end of our cycles!
