Flu and transfer?

Okay, so I've been fighting off this cold/flu but I'm on the edge..trying to drink lots of fluids and laying low. My acupuncturist says I might want to wait to transfer my embryo but my RE says it won't make a difference if I'm sick or not. What do you guys think? Should I wait another month to transfer one of my eggs? I don't want to but I don't want it to fail cause I was sick....

Do you have a fever? That would be the only reason I would suggest not to because embryos do not like extra heat. But even if you did you could use Tylenol to bring it down. Women have gotten pregnant under worse circumstances. If it is a cold, it is my understanding that there are some cold medications that are actually used for IF treatments. (something about added mucous)
I guess it depends on how you feel. You want to go into it believing it will work, not that you have already been defeated. Good luck what ever you decide! (and I hope you feel better soon)

I say go for it! You arn't paying the RE for nothing and if he/she says it's ok then it's ok!! After all, he/she is the expert!

Thanks guys! Yea, I don't have a fever and I've tried to sleep it off so I think I'll just do it. I'll go in tomorrow and see how my US but if it all looks good then I won't worry about it. Thanks!
