I was wondering how old everone is and how many, if any miscarriages have you had, if any. I just had my first miscarriage. I also have pcos. I know that this may not be scientific or anything, but I was just curious.

I am 36--I had a daughter when I was 18, she is/was perfect and healthy. I had a m/c when I was 34 and a stillborn son when I was 34. I had my son perfect and healthy when I was 35. Good luck and I am so sorry for your loss!!!

I'm 34, had a normal pregnancy and healthy baby by IUI at 33. Just miscarried at 10 or 11 weeks. How about you? Best wishes.

I'm 27 also...well for the next 3or 4 days.
One pregnancy aborted at 5weeks, my age 24. Two documented miscarriages at 6 and 9weekish, my age 26,27. Started my first IVF cycle Thursday 5 nov, also doing PGD. Found mosiac turner's syndrome, early onset ovarian failure and MTHFR through some of the tests I've been constantly doing between May and October. It's a long haul road no matter if we have a lasting pregnancy and healthy baby from our first conceptoin on our wedding night, or if we have to work, wait and try so much harder to reach that goal of parenthood. One way or another it's all a life decision, and only you know what is right to do for you and your partner as our situations are all so very varied. I am deeply sorry to hear of your miscarrying, my sympathy goes to you and your partner. Sincerely, Jo

Thank you very much. I was just curious becuase I know that it would be financially better if I waited a few years, but I keep hearing that my chances are better when I am younger. I wanted to see if age really mattered. I just started Metformin, and I got my first period in a VERY LONG TIME, so we are hoping that we'll get pregnant this month! Wish me luck!
