" yea-find out what your insurance covers. i had mine a couple of years ago but i think it was about $1500. but all i had to pay was my copay of $30. i think ALL insurance needs to cover fertility treatments!! "

" my insurance doesn't cover IUI. I had to pay our of pocket and it was $350. We actually ended up paying $400 though because we had to have ours done on a Sunday, and at our office the weekend was an extra charge.

It's not as expensive as IVF! Much less!!!! "

" I know my friend was paying about $1000 each time. And of course she got her BFP the month she didn't do an IUI after 4 years of trying...my local doctor didn't think it should cost that much, so I guess it just depends on where you are, what kind of doctor you use, etc. "

" i have a statement in front of me:

IUI- $197

Sperm analysis/isolation (wash)- $265

BFP- priceless

the medicine is really expensive if you don't have coverage and opt to use it. i didnt like nor did i respond to clomid so we used femara, follistim, and ovidrel. the ultrasound(s) to monitor follicle production can also get pricey. "

" My IUI costs us $375.00 including the Sperm wash. However my horrible health ins wouldn't even cover the US so we ended up paying $1437.00, plus the meds. Good luck! "
