So...yesterday was my procedure day and all went great! I was very nervous as I thought I would be but they gave me a little meds in my IV and I was off to neverland not giving a flip...lol! My RE found a little endometriosis (stage 1), but my tubes were wide open!! YAY! I really wasnt expecting that bc I have never had any problems at all. Plus I guess I need to do a little research bc I really dont understand anything about endo! Anyway..my RE said that it could possibly increase our chances of conciving, and that he has moved us from Unexplained IF to bc of Endometriosis! He said that in the next few months that our chances are better of conciving but if it doesnt happened through IUI/natural in the next 6 months or so that we could move on to IVF unless we decide to do things sooner! We have the money saved for the first IVF bc we were expecting to have to do it by January..and we still may..I guesss we will see. RE said that if we want to take a month off we can, and its probable that after I finish this pack of BCP we may just try natural this first month..IDK?...What do you gals think? Should we take a month off? Natural? IUI?

give it a try naturally, and just think if it works you could use the money as the biggest bestest nursery ever or maybe some for a college fund for baby. Good luck to you and I'm so glad everything went well.

Glad to know you're doing well.If I were you I'd give it one month of trying naturally then if that dont work.... So happy you know whats wrong. I have a good feeling . :)

i'm so jealous you had something for the pain..LOL!! i got my HSG without anything and i puked from the pain-it was horrible. anyway-i think there's something about the HSsG that kind of 'cleans' you out-so who knows- this may be your month now..woo hoo!

Where was your endo located? I had one spot that wsa in my abdomen but down behind my cervix and my ob-gyn didn't think it would have affected my fertility at all. That spot was the only spot that they found, so I probably would have been stage 1 as well.
After my lap and chromotubation (+ hysteroscopy). I went in for my two week check up and my doctor said we could start trying again as soon as we wanted. No month off or anything. I know we didn't wait a month. :) My doc also said that are chances were increased. My surgery was followed the next month by an HSG. But unfortunately that was back in May and June...and still nothing! Good luck and hopefully you'll not need to do an IVF. Laurel

Thanks girls for the replies! I accually talked back to the RE and he said that the Endo was on the back side of my uterus. he said it was very minimal. Hubby and I have talked about things and I think that we want to carry on where we left off at last month and start back with injectables/IUI...I'm SO excited to get back started!! I'm trying to stay positive that maybe this was all that its gonna take for us!! I have to finish this pack of BCP (about 1 1/2 weeks left)..then AF...then we get back on the wagon!!LOL! Unfortunately the last several days have really more rough on me than I thought they were gonna be! I have had the most awful gas/indigestion/heartburn/and nausea ever! UGH! It seems to be slowly going away..I started on Prilosec so hopefully it will go away completely. It's awful to wake up feeling sick in the middle of the night and there is nothing that you can do about it..UGH! Oh well...maybe I wont have to worry anymore about all this...maybe this will be our lucky month ans the rest of this story will be history..lol!
