I took a very low dose of Clomid and did not work for me. My RE switched me to Femara and I will see tomorrow if I had any luck with Femara. Good luck I hope it works for you

I did IUI and clomid and after two cycles it worked. I am 29 almost 30 weeks pregnant with triplets!!! I tried just doing clomid but it never worked. Clomid has a good success rate so give it time. What does does he have you on?

dmksam wow congrat on triplets! I was on Clomid awhile ago 50mg and then 100 mg and then 150mg and it did not work so we took a break because i got sick my addisons got worse. So now i am back to normal again well as normal as i can for having addisons :) and i just too 50mg again and don't think it worked again so i think we are back in the same boat!!

i was on clomid for a year never worked. have a baby now through ivf. dont waste your time on clomid

JodieO, I tried Femara with an IUI and that didn't work for me. I tried Chlomid too, that didn't work for me either. Every woman's body is different. Don't think it won't work though. I had a friend's sis-in-law who tried it and she managed to pregnant right away, she started out with twins but then had one, and the second one she conceived naturally. I know this probably doesn't help you out, but don't give up. We just did our 3rd round of IUI, this time with did injections of Follistim with the IUI. Good luck.

Clomid works for a lot of people but it did not work for me. I got the bad side effects from it which are really common - thinning of the uterine lining and very dry cm. My RE switched me to femera because the chlomid thinned my lining so much. I got good follicles on femara but did not get pg so I switched to injectibles.

They just upped my dosage on clomid... it didn't work last month , hopefully next we both will have postive results

I was on Clomid about two and a half years ago, when my husband and I began trying to conceive with a doctor's help. It was prescribed by my regular OB. After a few months, I started seeing an RE.... she kept me on clomid for a few cycles, but upped the dosage. Nothing happened, so she tried me on another drug; I got pregnant the first time on that one and then miscarried. Over a year later, she put me back on clomid, but again at a higher dose. I'm pregnant on the 2nd round. I also timed and tracked everything VERY carefully using a ClearBlue Easy fertility monitor. I also had a trigger shot to induce ovulation.
