Gonal-f and overstimulation

I was just wondering how many people experience overstimulation of the ovaries when using gonal-f. I am waiting to begin a cycle of femara, gonal-f and ovadril. I am so worried about it not working, again, and then waiting longer for a BFP. It will be the firstt cycle on injectables. The doc does u/s and blood work every 2-3 days to monitor growth of follies and estrogen levels, but it seems like overstimulation occurs pretty quick and without warning. Any advice?
Thanks!

" Gonal F is identical to Follistim simply a different brand name, and this cycle I had HORRIBLE OHSS.

I was on Follistim max of 125 IU's a day, Bravelle 75 units, Ganirelix to prevent early ovulation and Ovidrel to induce ovulation.

The way it was once explained to me is that some women are like light switches--just a day of too much medication and your ovaries light up like Christmas, but just a little less and you don't turn on at all.

Good luck to you. "

" Jakeswife,
I was hospitalized with my OHSS right before my BFP & my RE told me that usually the bad OHSS (after the HCG shot)& the BFP go hand-in-hand. So hopefully your suffering will be worth it!!! Good Luck :) "
