ER Was Today- Question

My ER was today, it went well and I found the pain totally manageable, what a relief that was. I went in with 9-10 follies but they only ended up getting 3 eggs. I am happy there were definitely some in there but was hoping for more. Do you think 3 can be enough to get to ET? We are doing ICSI and should have some results from the lab tomorrow. It is our first IVF and I just want to make it to the ET. Any advice or experience would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ladies, and I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

" 3 is definitely better than 2, which is better than 1 which is better than none. :)
You have to stay positive. It only takes 1. :) "

" I had only four eggs retrieved, and only three fertilized. One stuck and here I am at almost 11 weeks preggo.

The quantity is not as important as the quality of the eggs, and it's true, it only takes one!!

Good luck! "

" At our ER we had 9 retrieved. 4 fertilized, and at our ET only 2 were a good enough quality to transfer. We had one transferred and 1 kept to freeze -- the one we kept to freeze didn't make it to the 5 days needed. So we only had the one embryo that was transferred -- and that embryo is now our 2 month old daughter, Natalie. It isn't the quantity, it's the quality that counts! Praying yours are all A+'s! "
