I had my first IUI this morning and am still very crampy. It feels more like AF cramps than ovulation cramps. Is this normal?

I just had my 2nd set of B2B IUI's Wed & Thurs. Both cycles I was fine after the first IUI but about 2 hours after the 2nd one my Uterus just killed me. I was curled up in bed the first time for a few hours. It feels like really bad AF cramps for me but not just in one area my whole uterus is sore. My RE said it was normal. Hope you feel better!

Yep its pretty normal from my experience. I had four IUI's and they all hurt after.

I do get cramps, but only because I have a really small opening in my cervix and my Doc has to use a balloon catheter to open it up more to insert the sperm. It feels like bad AF cramps to me too. Once it's over, then it feels much better.
