I was on tamoxifen for migraines - I had an allergic reaction to it....silly me didnt even know it was used for IF - Sticky baby DUST to you!

I used it for my breast cancer treatment. It was used for infertility long before clomid I guess. Good luck with it!

We use it at the Cancer Center I work at.

Many many of my breast cancer patients take it. I have never heard of it for IF. Does it effect the babies in any way? It is a chemotherapy agent which is contraindicated while TTC typically but maybe it it fine just for initial treatment?!? I am not sure but wish you all the best.

I looked it up in our Drug handbook here at work and it say's that it's uses for breast cancer pts and also to stimulate ovulation. It also said to caution women from getting pregnant during therapy and the first 2 months after stopping the drug. I never knew this until I asked one of my nurses about it and we looked it up. How interesting.

Clomid thinned my lining too so I am moving on to femera this month. Isn't femera a drug that they use for breast cancer patients too? Maybe tomaxifen is similiar to femera in the way that it works.

Yeah Femera is another drug we give our patients...It's strange how they use meds for different things.

I used Tamoxifen when I did injectables. My doc told me that it pulls all of the estrogen away from the breasts and down to the uterus. It gave me terrible headaches.
