I just had the most brilliant idea in the history of brilliant ideas!

You know how you can't drink when your pregnant and you're not supposed to get pedicures while your pregnant?

Well... I'm going to institute the Aunt Flo Celebratory Pedicure and Cocktails! From here on, every time I get my period, since I know I'm not pregnant, I'm going to go get a pedicure and a few drinks. Might as well enjoy life, even if I'm not getting what I want out of it right this second, right?

LOL! I hope this idea helps others... it sure made me laugh when it came to me at the end of a very stressful day!

Hugs to all!

PS - Survey: what's your favorite thing to do that you either don't do because your TTC or know you'll have to give up once you do get pregnant?

" I had no idea that you weren't supposed to get a pedicure while you are pregnant! Guess it doesn't matter to me much now since I am not ttc myself anymore, but dang!
I think your idea is great! I am all for doing whatever it takes to make you feel better when AF shows.
My favorite thing to do when AF showed was to take a REALLY long hot bubble bath.(usually with a glass of wine) I was always afraid of cooking my potential baby in the tww, so the minute AF arrived I hoped in the tub (helped with cramps too) "

@ Stephanie--that wasn't in the what to expect book about pedicures? I had a pedicure at 10 weeks. Crap! are my kids going to come out with ugly feet? "

" Christina, the first thing I thought when I read this post was "I don't remember that in the 'what to expect' books." lol..now I have to go home and check. If it's not in there, I will write them a letter :)
I'm sure your kids will have perfect feet! Unless, they're boys, then they will be gross and hairy!! "

" Loving the Wisconsin reps here! GO PACK GO!! From Canada here, but think Wisconsin is beautiful...ANYWAYS....

It is terrible for me to say this, but I just keep living life while TTC. We've been at it for so long that if I had to go without a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at a wedding I'd have freaked out a long time ago. OBGYN says "everything in moderation is ok" so I'm not gonna spend too much energy on this until we get pregnant! That said, if we do get pregnant, I think I'll miss white wine the most ;) "
