Ive been trying for 20+ years to have a baby, I know its not me. It was my ex, but now its my fiance, we are not sure. I know I let it stress me alot & I know that the stress can cause problems with getting pregnant. How do I stop this aching in my heart? I know I need to "let go & let God", but it seems so hard to do. Im 39 years old & that scares the heck out of me, doesn't God realize that Im running out of time? Im so impatient. I dont want to wait on Gods timing, I want a baby NOW.

First, let me say, welcome to the group :) 20 years is a long time! So, kudos to you for your persistance!!
Now, I am not in any way trying to be offensive, but my thoughts on the whole "let go and let god", is that it is complete crap! I think faith is great! I am not religous, but I support and respect those that are. However, I believe you have to take control of your life and make things happen for yourself. A couple of things you said stand out to me. Yes, stress isn't good while trying to get pregnant, but it happens all the time. Women who are raped, abused, starving and drug addicts get pregnant, so don't let the stress thing worry you even more. Infetility is stressful. You should try to eliminate extra stress, but all of us stress :) I wish I had a way to stop the aching in your heart. But, I have it too, so I have no ideas. My next thoughts are, are you seeing a doctor or RE to help you get pregnant? You said you know it isn't you. How do you know? Have you had testing and when? If you truly have no issues, then you and your fiance could use a sperm donor. We are and many women here have as well. I wish you the best of luck on your journey :)

welcome to the group and I agree with lowes, unfortunately stress will never leave and so doing things you enjoy to unwind is a good start and honestly I don't think the ache ever goes away per say but more over we learn to cope with it and deal with the hurt in our own ways. have you thought about adoption and have you had any tests done on both sides? I do not know is surrigacy is available to you either but the great thing about this day and age is there is so many advancements with technology and options available I think sitting down with your significant other and discussing what you both want and what you are both willing to do to obtain it is a good start and just so you know I have a friend your age and she just had her baby this year through IVF so there is stil hope :)
