Flu Shot?

Was just wondering if it was recommended to still get your flu shot while on fertility meds. I'm only on letrazole/trigger but wasn't sure if it was a good idea to be adding something else to the mix.

" There is a flyer in the elevator going up to my IF Clinic that says it is safe to get a flu shot while pregnant and TTC. "

" I know if there's any chance you are pregnant you should get it from your doctor, not a free clinic or a pharmacy... it's a different concoction in the vaccine that's safer for pregnant women... when my sister got her shot last year while pregnant, the pharmacy wouldn't do it and sent her to her doctor for that reason. " My husband and I both got them from a pharmacist, with my doctor's permission, while going through IF treatments. The doctor just said not to do the nasal vaccine--shot only.

I think the danger lies in actually getting the flu, so they want to prevent that. But it may not hurt to run it by your nurse. Hope this helps :) "
