Hello Lauren,

You have definitely come to the right place!! The support here is amazing. We have some things in common. I too am a step mom and it's not the same. I love my kids with all I have, but I want a child of my own. A child that is a part of me, that can be in my life from the moment of conception and every day after. We only see my husband's kids a few months out of the year due to them living 16 hours away.

I will be 35 at the end of this month and feel hopeless at times too!! I hope that you are able to find that hope, support, and inspiration here that you need!! I know that I have definitely found it!!

I am a stepmom too!! Love my stepdaughter but i want a child to call me mom. Its hard for me not to be a little jeolous that everyone gets to be a mom and i dont. I too will be 35 this year and its scary but its not like i havent been trying for 6 years

I to love my step daughter dearly and treat her just as i would my own child. But its hard. Her mom just got re married and had a baby so im hearing a lot of whats going on in her life with her sister. I put on a brave face and am genuinly happy for her but im dying inside. Breaks my heart. Thank you for the support, im feeling a bit better already :)
