" can't help with getting preggo thing... but I hope some encouraging words will be just as good. I have moderate endo low stage three high stage 2 is how my dr broke it out cause he said he doesn't like to rate it on a number system. I have been trying for 5 yrs and treatment this past year. It may be more difficult for us with endo but not totally impossible.. so i am right here with you in your journey and am hopnig the best for you and your husband.. Try to stay positive and for me personally I turned to acupuncture on top of my treatments, it has helped manage the endo pain and my cycles are not as heavy anymore either... plus I found it to be a good stress releiver....

hugs and best of luck... sticky baby dust to you "

" Thank you for your reply. Where are you in your treatment? I just had my second IUI done last Saturday. We are going to try one more IUI and move onto invitro. "

" unfortunately our town is very limited for options and my gyno said it would be a waste of money and time to try IUI for the simple fact that I have to travel 6-8hrs to get it done... so basically right now we are trying fert meds and in the mean time trying to save up for IVF which I hope we can afford by end of this year because in our province they don't cover anything fertility related... I do wish there was a facility that did these kinds of treatments closer because I would rather try some attempts of IUI first... good luck on your next IUI and I really hope you get your BFP... "

" Hello flowers! I tried to post earlier but I guess it didn't work. So, I have 3 stories for you! My grandmother, mother, and I have all had severe endo. My grandmother had 2 children (she never was diagnosed with endo but had all the symptoms and could only have 2 children w/o birth control and marrying at 21). My mother had 6 years of IF and 4 surgeries to have me (26), my brother (25), and my sister (21). It took a while for her to get pregnant because endo treatment was very exploratory and sometimes made endo worse. With me I developed endo after I had my son. I was misdiagnosed by my nurse/widwife who was my doc with my son. She said I had PCOS and put me on a diet of no carbs. Well, that diet treats endo as well as drinking water for cancer. So, by the time I went to a real doc my endo was stage 4. I had large endometriomas (cysts on my ovaries containing endo) on both ovaries and my tubes were 4 times bigger than normal and eventually my tubes had to be removed because of the damage. However! After taking norethindrone to keep endo from growing and going through IVF I am 21 weeks along. So, there is hope!!! Doctors now know more about endo to treat it correctly. You can get pregnant with severe endo! :) "

" Hey Flowers! We have similar stories. I was diagnosed with stage 4 endo. four years ago. My OBGYN said I most likely would need IVF to have children. My husband and I have been TTC for about a year too. My RE wanted me to start off with IUI's because they are a lot less expensive than IVF. I will have my 3rd IUI with Clomid next week. If this doesn't work, then I think IVF is our next step. Wishing you all the best of luck! "

" I have stage 4 endo. My RE said it would be a waste of time for me to try anything but IVF. I have done 2 cycles which both have failed. I am getting ready to start a 3rd cycle. Hoping the 3rd cycle works!! My neighbor has stage 4 endo and she got pregnant on her own she had to have 6 surgeries but she still got pregnant on her own. My neighbor's sister also had stage 4 endo and got pregnant on her 2nd cycle of IVF. Wishing you the best of luck!! "

" I have endo stage 4 as well. I had the surgery to remove the majority of it. But as we all know it comes back. Having ther surgery gave us the option of trying IUI's & clomid...ect! But in the end that was all a waste of time and money. We concieved with IVF. I wish we had just done IVF right away. But the cost freaked us out. If I was you I would just look at IVF right away. it give you the best odds and that is really what you want if you ahve already been trying for a year. Good luck & best wishes!!! "

" Hi. I had mild endometriosis. I had all the symptoms, but my RE said the only way he could diagnose me was through surgery. I went through with the surgery and, sure enough, I had mild endometriosis, which my RE lasered off. After surgery, I went through 2 rounds of back-to-back IUIs along with a cocktail of medications (including Clomid, Ovidrel and injections). My doctor was very aggressive, but I am very thankful because I now have a 7 month old. I hope this provides you some hope! Good Luck!! "
