Fertile Myrtle

Just venting.....So school started back this week and my students had their first day yesterday. One of my student's parents brought her 2 month old in for me to hold first thing in the morning. I have been emotional this week (I'll blame that on the hormone meds.) and was proud that I didn't start tearing up. This is a parent who had her tubes tied and burned and STILL was able to conceive without trying. I also got to chat with one of the teachers at lunch who proclaimed that she is "fertile myrtle" and never has had to really try when it comes to making babies. She has 3 children and twins on the way. Must be nice to not have to pay thousands of dollars for IUI's to not work, not to have to save over ten thousand dollars for ivf, not worrying about taking off work for ultrasounds/ bloodwork, and the list goes on. Sorry.....I am usually a very positive person, but not so much today. Just needed to vent! Thanks :)

" I understand! I went out to lunch today with a friend of my mom's, and she was saying how her daughter (who is due next month) decided to go off the pill at New Year's, went on vacation to France with her husband, and was like "Ta Da! Baby!" It's hard, when the bile raises up in your throat, not to say something caustic. I'm constantly battling between being a happy, supportive friend and a snarky, hormonal rage beast. "

" You have no reason to be sorry!! Vent away.....that is why we are all here!! I felt the same way today as my co-worker's niece showed up today with her 1 week old baby girl!! My co-worker came around the corner with her (mind you she knows my struggle because we are a very small office) and she hands me the baby to hold!! I went to a FRG meeting (military thing) and there were at least 3-4 seriously pregnant girls there!! And my brother announced that he and his wife are pregnant on the 4th of July!! Oh yes and my sis-in-law, who also knows my struggle announced on fb that they are pregnant yet again (#3) and didn't even have the decency to let me know.......I found out via her post!!

I try to just hold my head up and keep going!! Best Wishes!! "

" We are here for you, so feel free to vent. I am so sorry that you had to deal with all this, this week!! All my sisters are fertile they'll make comments like "if my husbands sits next to me I get pregnant". I am the only one out of 5 kids that has infertility and the rest of my siblings are extremely fertile and for some reason they make those stupid comments to me, which makes me want to scream!! I hope the rest of your week goes better!! "

" Well I dont go back until the 29th and already heard I'll be facing a coworker who is due in December and my building throws elaborate baby showers. I'm already expecting to be busy after school that day. Ugh. I hate it. And I get to share my miscarriage and D& C from this summer. That was my summer vacation ! Not looking forward to any of it! "

" Thanks for the support everyone! Today was a better day :) I agree with you whimsical. I too battle between being excited and supportive with my newly pregnant friends and upset because I am yet again "left in the dust." HaHa Brileigh, feel the same way. I am sorry HisPrince. I know how difficult it must be and especially since they already know you are struggling with this. Thanks Katie! I appreciate your support! Good luck when y'all start back ttcteacher and DCO714! I'll be thinking about y'all!!! Thanks for letting me vent :) "

" I go back next week, the day I should be 23 weeks. Instead I have an empty womb and have been grieving over the loss of my son 6 weeks ago. It's so unfair! Oh, and my coworker is due 2 days after I was due. "
