Discussion:
Hope meter goes up a blip

Tonight we went for our consultation to discuss our options after our first failed IVF. After discussing the depressing % that my frozen embryo will thaw, implant and thrive, my doctor moves onto that my thryoid should be tested because previously it was a bit high and can cause auto-immune issues. So while this may not be an answer or relative at all to why I can't get past chemical pregnancies, it gives me something to think may be causing some of my issues. Hope meter goes up a blip.

He then goes on to explain that they are in the process of developing a 100% guaranteed baby program. While this is not new in the IF world, it is new to my area where you have to drive 200+ miles to a clinic that offers this. Hope meter up another blip.

The nurse further explains that its "take an actual baby home", not get abfp, not get past the first trimester, its the whole 9 months. And you get 6 attempts. Hope meter up another blip.

So I've never been so excited to figure out how to come up with $20,000.

Just wanted to share, I was so sure I would be depressed after the review, and yes, he did say somethings I was expecting to hear about %. It gives me hope that when I am ready to try again, at least I won't be babyless and broke. So today my meter has gone up 3 blips.

" yeah!!! we did that same program as well. It was nice to go in for appointments and not have to worry about paying anything. (well, we were paying, but it was just like a monthly mortgage payment) We ended up pregnant with twins on the first try! I figured that would happen, because we ended up paying double the amount for it to work on the first try. The great part is though that it is still an active contract until you bring them home. It is really a great way to relax and not have to worry about the money aspect of it. Good luck! "

" That sounds wonderful! If you don't mind my asking, what state are you in? If IVF doesn't take for us, I'm going to look into this. "

" Wow, 20,000 for six tries is amazing! Congrats.
I just found out that I have thyroid issues, graves disease an hyperthyroidism. Just started meds yesterday. So far I've only had chemicals as well. I'm hoping that fixing my thyroid will do the trick. I wish you luck!!! "

" I am in SC, but I think its based on the clinic and the statistics of that clinic, and if they qualify for the program. Ours is called ATTAIN. The website is below. Their may be others, I am not sure. But it may list on there which clinics you can use it at:

good luck! "
