Surgical sperm extraction

Hello,

My husband has has 3 SA and the most recent one at the IVF clinic showed zero sperm so azoospermia. Previous two had shown occasional non motile sperm but even so it was a shock to find there are none.

His has normal FSH and LH levels, does not smoke and is v fit and healthy.

A week on Friday we are booked in for Mesa or Tesa. I have been reading on line all sorts of stats so wondered if anyone has had the procedure and if they were successful or not?

He had a hydroceale operation when 14 y o and as a result one testicle is much smaller than the other.

Any stories/advice?

Thank you!
Xx

" Wow!

One sperm and that led to a baby!! It really is true when people say "it only takes one sperm"

Thank you! "
