Hello, I recently had a larproscopy to unblock my fallopian tube, unfortunalty it didn't work, I have to much scar tissue damage. My Doctor said the only way I will be able to conceive is IVF, but my boyfriend said after the surgery he didn't sound to positive for that, but when we went back then he did seem more positive that it might work for me. I am going for a second opinion, I guess my question is what kind of tests do they do to see if you are a goood canidate and if you are producing eggs?

Hi there,
The should do some tests both on you and your DB. For your boyfriend they will do a sperm analysis and for you they will do a FSH test on day 3 of your cycle. I think my RE did an external exam and there might have been some other blood work, but I can't remember as it was two years ago. Good luck!
