7days til I start the lupron shots.
This is my first ever fertility treatment of any kind. I wonder what's the best time of day to do the shots? Early morning, Dinner Time or Bed time? We're getting a nurse in to teach as we go as the likelyhood of DH making the training lesson at RE's office is close to nil, it's the only day they'll give us the appointment and the day of a huge unbreakable work date for him. So DH to the rescue he found a nurse he knows and she's going to help us for the first few days, so he'll be learning as he goes. I have a severe aversion to needles which in time I will deal with asap. So ladies any ideas, reasons etc as to what the best time of day would be to do the shots? I choose night time before bed or whatever bc that is the least stressful time for me and i didnt wnat to have to rush through anything. Mornings are much too hectic for me at least. Just whatever time you choose make sure its a time that u are able to do it every time at as close to the same time as possible. For me i choose 930 bc some nights i had class until 9;00. Hope this helps. I start my lupron soon too. the 17th :)

I had to do multiple shots (gonal-f and menapur) and my doctor wanted them evenly spread out throughout the day. So I did gonal-f at 6:45am before leaving for work and menapur at 8:30pm when I got home. Basically, I chose those times because they were convenient and relatively on the schedule my RE wanted. I didn't notice any difference in "side effects" - by a few days in I was just constantly bloated!
