My husband and I are currently on our 3 cycle of Clomid (100 mg) and Ovidrel. I just got home from my appointment and my results were as follows...
Estradiol: 855 Progesterone: 0.6 Follicles on right are smaller then 10 mm Follicles on left are 25,23,19,17,10 mm Lining is 11 mm The plan was to take the Ovidrel injection tonight and do IUI on Friday, but they said since my one follicle was already 25 mm I need to take the Ovidrel injection as soon as possible today and come back for IUI tomorrow. My problem is, when I got home, I went to the bathroom and when I was done I had a LOT of EWCM. (Meaning ovulation.) Well, I took my Ovidrel injection almost right after, and I still plan to go back tomorrow but what do you all think about that? Normally we would just BD today/tonight, however, I am working until 11 pm. Is the IUI tomorrow going to be too late to work? Did we miss our chance, since I will not be able to see my husband until about 11:30 tonight? Thank you all for reading. Anything you have to say is greatly appreciated! What time is your IUI scheduled for? As long as it is before the time of your appoitnment today, you are still in the 24 hour window of egg life. If his sperm count is normal to high, i would suggest BD tonight and IUI in the morning. Good luck!!!

My appointment today was at 8:40 am. I had EWCM at about 12 pm and took the injection shortly after. My IUI is scheduled for 9 am tomorrow. Just of note, I went to the bathroom at 10 or 11 am and had no CM. Hubby's sperm count is very low and poor "quality."

Don't BD tonight. Do the IUI tomorrow as planned. I think when you have EWCM it means that you are going to ovulate in 48 hours, so tomorrow IUI will be perfect timing. It is not worth it to BD tonight and Poss. have really low numbers tomorrow because of it.

I would wait to BD until after the IUI so you have higher numbers. After my IUI the nurse told us to "flood the area." :)

I have utterly no idea!
However, from my own experiences, I do wish they didn't tell us so much without an explaination in full. Knowing a little is okay, knowing a lot can hurt, knowing the ins and outs is informative and gives us control, everything short of control is a shit place to be. And my final thought is that I should stop typing crap at you when you need proper people with heads on shoulders to help you. I'm sure it'll all work out in the end to be okay. I do know that no amount of worry you heap on yourself will change the outcome. God bless.
