" I'm not desperate, because school gives me meaning and I don't necessarly absolutely need to be with someone because I have sucha a great family. However having a relationship can add meaning to my life. It's just this is such a sensitive issue and it can't be discussed with anyone. So I don't know how to tell someone that I do have this problem therefore finding a partner is hard. "

" It *IS* hard to talk about with a partner. What issues are you dealing with? Women have come here before looking for men with similar issues, but I think the problem is that these men are here b/c they WANT to have fulfilling sex and they are looking for answers. If you find someone who truly loves you, i doubt they would stop loving you b/c of sexual dysfunction. It is hard, but anything in a meaningful relationship like this is hard to talk about. Combining 2 problems does not cancel them out. Maybe we can help you with treatment options and you can find answers, then you wont have to worry about dating only impotent men. You deserve a truly happy relationship. "

" Just out of curiosity, who diagnosed you as being sexually disfunctional? Which symptoms seem to be giving you the most trouble. Depression can greatly reduce ones libido. Friends and relationships are often as helpful to to us as is professional counseling. You will have friends on this site. "

" It's true that I havn't exhausted my treatment options and I'd like to know more about it. I havn't officially been diagnosed. I've seen a gynacologyst, an endocrynologyst. What else do you suggest? As far as partners go, it's so hard to be intimate with someone. Sex seems to be such an important aspect of a relationship and it's a way to get close in the first place. It is so important especially to guys my age. "
