How can anyone avoid a baby from choking? What is the best sleep position?

I don’t understand anything! How can a baby possibly choke on his vomit during sleep? When I found, Daniel, there was no vomit on the bed, just saliva, so he did not vomit anything out. Nothing came out, nothing! He was 4 months and 4 days old; he was a happy, strong and healthy baby. I thank God he was healthy and that I was able to stay home to take care of him! Just stuck at home with my daughter who is feeling better, but still has a little bit of fever. It is raining cats and dogs here in Miami and it is also thundering and lightning.
