Rabies Vaccine

I was exposed to a rabid bat last July(09). I had the full series of post expossure rabies vaccine. For the last 6 month i have had a daily headache, pulsing sensation in my eyes, and stiff neck/joints.
My symptoms were so bad that my Doctor ran a rabies tieter and it came back showing that i have no rabies antibodies!! Now i have to have the whole rabies post exposure series again!!
Has anyone had any similar problems, post exposure?

" No, it's not likely that you'll find someone who has. Have you been to a neurologist? That would be the first place I would start. Since it's been a couple of months, I do hope you're feeling better. "

" Since the series of shots did not work for you the first time ask your doctor if you can, instead, be given the antibodies instead of the series of vaccinations again. Vets and vet techs all have to be vaccinated for rabies since they work with animals daily. So these people sell their antibodies to rabies to the local hospitals because when someone gets exposed they are given antibodies plus vaccination because it takes time for your body to build up its own antibodies.
I would ask for just 1 booster shot vaccine OR see if you can receive antibodies only for rabies. "
