Jakob passed away of interstitial pneumonitis, inflammation of the lungs. We will not know what caused it until we meet with the pathologist and coriner this week sometime. They told me at first it was SIDS, but further investigation showed this. All I know is Jakob was perfectly healthy at his well baby check up, then he got his vaccinations, and passed 2 days later. My aunt asked their pediatritian if he had heard of an infant passing from shots. He told her that he had an infant under his care that passed within 72 hours after his vaccinations, it was caused by the vaccinations. I do not know which one, or if it was a combination of all of them, all I know is my children will no longer be vaccinated. And if they made the connection with Jakob and his vaccinations, Someone has some answering to do.
I LOVE YOU JAKOB. Posted on 11/27/07, 01:11 am |

I am so sorry for your loss. I could not even imagine what you have gone through. I want to say that my oldest child was fully immunized with no adverse effects at all. However, my youngest was given a round of vacinations at 12 months and she completely stopped talking and would go into silent stare spells. I could only relate this behavior to the immunizations. From that point forward we no longer immunized her. It took about 2 years, but we have her back to where she should be, through much therapy (speech), care and love and HUGE patience. She is a difficult child, and I am not sure if it is because of the effects of the immunizations or if it is just because of her personality.
So my conclusion is that immunizations are probably a good idea on paper, but they are not a one-size-fits-all answer. They effect each person differently. And because they don't effect the majority of the population adversely people who question them or are not in favor of them are thought of as foolish. If I was to have another child, I would NOT immunize them. Again, I am so sorry for your loss and pray that you can find peace.
