My son Jakob passed away less than three days after his vaccinations. My cousin is in the medical field and when I ask him if there could be a connection he said absolutely, but according to the medical field it is for the greater good of the community to have these vaccines. Even if there is a chance they can cause death, he does not agree with them, but told me that is what he has learned. The DPT shot is proven to take the lives of 900 infants in the US a year, that is not including all of the cases miss-diagnosed as SIDS or undetermined death, which happens in a LOT of cases. research it. google, DPT, SIDS, you wont believe what you see.

oh yeah, and Jakob's autopsy report is pending because they are testing lung tissue to see if there was a link. which leads me to believe it is a possibility, so i will never again take that chance with my children.

I hate to disagree with the other mommy who posted, but VACCINES SAVE LIVES!!! All these people who say that they caused their kids to devlope autism or to die of SIDS are, in my opioion, looking for someone to blame for these horrible things to happen. That being said, I do not think that all the shots given or the time table in which they are given are needed. I do not plan on getting my youngest 2 the chicken pox shot(my oldest's father got them for against my wishes) and the baby I am carrying will not have any until he/she is at least 6 months old.

I think I would have to agree to disagree. I do think that the vaccines are for the overall good. That being said, it is easier to make that statement when your child falls into the overall good category. There are many deaths each year that are directly linked to vaccinations. My cousin is a pharmasist, they had to study these in school...vaccinations and their affects on children/infants. there is a definate link between vaccinations and autisim. There is also a link between vaccinations and infant death. the DPT shot alone takes the lives of at least 900 infants a year in the US, but it is for the "greater good" of the population to have all children vaccinated. They are willing to loose those infants/children to avoid an outbreak of these diseases. My child can be treated for 90% of these things with no problem, but you cant treat death. We have some docs not wanting to testify in our case because they cant say if it was the vaccinations, SIDS, or the pneumonitis that took my Jakob, even though the autopsy report is clear on stating it was the pneumonitis. They have a national vaccination compensation act to compensate those who are injured ireversable, or are killed because of it. But they are not dangerous? i think you should educate yourself before you come on here talking about things like that. Saying they are just looking for something/someone to blame. it's sick...

Jamie329 I have to disagree with you. I am not looking for anyone to blame. The proof is in the pudding!!!! Autism is at epidemic proportions per the CDC!!!!!! My younger brother almost died from SIDS right after his vaccinations. Thank god he made it. It is easy to say that we are looking for someone to blame when it didn't happen to you. My older son Sean was developing right on schedule until he had several vaccinations, MMR, Flu shot - loaded with mercury I may add- and several others. Sean developed a high fever and a red spot on the injection site for about a week. 6 months later Sean lost all language, started to stim, forgot his name and lost interest in his toys. You cannot tell me that the vaccinations did not do that to him. Vaccinations will work for some but not for all. Some kids will develop autism from vaccinations and some will not. Drs. need to stop using a cookie cutter approach!!! Simple as that and maybe just a thought stop doing vaccinations so early!!!! Why do babies need the hep B shot right upon delivery? They don't and I would tell any new mom that I met to not vaccinate early!!!!! If you have any questions in regards to autism maybe you want to come to my house for coffee and see what vaccination damage looks like. I love my son, but I wish that he didn't have autism. Do you really think the medical field is going to say its the vaccines. Heck no. There would be lawsuits up the yang yang. As Jenny McCarthy said one size don't fit all. What can be ok for one child is deadly to another. Until a person is in our shoes and see what we go threw with once a happy child to the next minute a child who can't talk, doesn't respond to his name, just stares, chronic diarrhea, consipation, waking up screaming at night, banging his head I don't think I need to go one. Also do you pay attention the crap that is in the vaccines. Sorry but I agree with JJakobsmom(my heart goes out to her)and Denise Dies. The worst part about all of this autism is not covered by insurance. Thats what really sucks!

If your family has autoimmune issues (asthma, allergies, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, etc.) please be careful. This may be the genetic susceptibility that puts your child at risk for a vaccine reaction. A good analogy is “genes load the gun but the environment (vaccines?) pulls the trigger.” And lastly, if your pediatric practice threatens to kick you out because you are not following the vaccine schedule, it is time to find a new practice.

Do vaccines really save lives? The statistics are misrepresented in many cases, as with the measles, polio, etc. etc. The measles, specifically, had been eradicating itself (by over 99%) when the widespread use of the vaccine began back in 1968. The percentages are similar for other vaccines as well. The vaccines were well on their way to eradicating themselves, and the vaccine makers took all the credit for it. Vaccines aren't all what the're cracked up to be.
