I am new here, but I thought I would let everyone know that I got approved for SSDI in August of 2008 for Iga deficiency (and other immune conditions). After two years of waiting, it was finally signed by a judge without a hearing. When I was applying and looking for support and information I could not find any information. So if anyone is going thru that process now, I would be glad to share.

" Hello! My husband has Common Variable Immuno Defiency disease. He is IGA and IGG deficient. He receives IVIG every 3 weeks and is unable to work. He has been denied for SSDI. We have hired an attorney and to be honest I have no idea where we are. Can you help me? I really have no idea what to do and the attorney hasn't been very helpful. Suggestions?
