My doctor said that he had sent my blood work to many experts and they were all baffeled at how I have virtually zero levels of all Ig's and not mamange to be sick when I was younger. Anyone else with the same problem with all low classes of IG's??

" So you are saying that you have low IgA and low IgG. If you don't respond to vaccinations I'll bet you have CVID. My daughter had low immune globulin levels and a CVID diagnosis, but did not start having chronic infections until she went to college. She avoided Ig therapy until she was 18. "

" Not low...zero. Yes I had the pnuemonia vaccine and 2 months later I got pneumonia again. Is CVID considered a autoimmune? Hows your daugther doing now? "

" check out our CVID goup on here.. Guess what sounds like you have Common Variabale Immune Difficiency.. I would look into it.. My sympotoms didn't really start until I was in my late teens.. But now I look back and look at when I was a child and there were a few signs but nothing that stood out like a red flag.. "

" Sounds like you really have hypogammaglobulinemia instead of just low IgA. You can have low IgA and still have enough of the other Ig factors to keep from getting sick. Are you on IVIG replacement? I would suggest joining the CVID group here....

Good luck and stay well.
