im new to the group im currently on a waiting list for a hystrectomy they said it will be about 18 weeks i have mixed feelings about it iam scared as i dont know what to expect i also feel that will it make me less of a women i have two children and iam very greatful to be blessed with two beautiful children but i cant help how i feel the operstion will be for the best because ill have my life back so i do keep trying to focus on that can anyone help me through this im 30 yrs old,

Hello, my name is Kaila and i'm 27 yrs old. I recently had emergency surgery and had a softball size tumor removed from the inside of my right ovary. Luckly the doc was able to save my ovary but i'm still having some major cramps with my periods and so i went to my doc today who did my surgery and now i'm gonna be having a partical hysterectomy. My question is how many of you had really bad cramps with lots of clotting and how long does it take to recover? The reason i ask how long is because i have a 2 1/2 daughter and my son is soon to be 1 so need to know how long i'm gonna be down for. So ty for taking time out to read this and hopfully answer my questions.

Just wanted to let everyone Know that i'm having my hysterectomy today so please keep me in your prayers and pray that i have a fast recovery. I will let yall know how i'm doing when i'm back home and doing alittle better.
